Managing Users
Monitor and manage users who interact with your chatbot.
View All Users
- Open your chatbot
- Go to "Users"
- See the list of all users
User Information
For each user, you can see:

| Sessions | Number of chat sessions |
| Network | Masked IP address (open-access chatbots only) |

| Last Seen | Most recent visit timestamp |
Network Visibility
For open-access chatbots (no authentication required), each user row displays inline network badges:
- Network badge — Shows the user's masked IP address (e.g.,
192.168.x.x) - Question count — Total questions asked by that user
- Last seen — When the user was last active
This information loads automatically from your chatbot's analytics endpoint. If the badges show "Network unavailable (redeploy chatbot)", you need to redeploy the chatbot to enable this feature.
Network visibility is only available for open-access chatbots. Authenticated chatbots show user identity directly via their login credentials.
User Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Can access the chatbot |
| Pending | Invited but hasn't logged in |
| Disabled | Access revoked |
Changing User Role
- Find the user in the list
- Click on their row
- Change Role dropdown
- Click "Save"
Disabling a User
Revoke access without deleting:
- Find the user
- Click "Disable"
- Confirm the action
Disabled users:
- Cannot access the chatbot
- Remain in your user list
- Can be re-enabled later
Re-enabling a User
- Find the disabled user
- Click "Enable"
- Access is restored
Deleting a User
Permanently remove a user:
- Find the user
- Click "Delete"
- Confirm deletion
This permanently deletes the user and their session history.
Viewing User Sessions
See a user's chat history:
- Click on the user
- Go to "Sessions" tab
- View past conversations
Bulk Actions
Manage multiple users at once:
- Select users using checkboxes
- Choose action from dropdown:
- Disable selected
- Enable selected
- Change role
- Delete selected
- Confirm the action
Filtering and Searching
Find users quickly:
- Search - By name or email
- Filter by status - Active, Pending, Disabled
- Filter by role - Admin, Regular
- Sort - By name, date, activity
Exporting User List
Export users for reporting:
- Click "Export"
- Choose format (CSV, Excel)
- Download the file
