Manage your chatbot's basic configuration options.
Basic Settings
Name and Description
- Name - The display name for your chatbot
- Description - Internal notes about the chatbot's purpose
To update:
- Go to "Settings" > "General"
- Edit the name or description
- Click "Save"
Custom Domain
You can set a custom subdomain for your deployed chatbot:
- Go to "Settings" > "Domain"
- Enter your preferred subdomain
- Click "Save"
The URL format is: https://your-subdomain.wizchat.app
note
Custom domains (your own domain) require a Business or Enterprise plan.
Status Management
Changing Status
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Pause | Temporarily disables the chatbot |
| Resume | Reactivates a paused chatbot |
| Archive | Removes from active list, preserves data |
When to Pause
Pause your chatbot when:
- Making significant updates to the knowledge base
- Updating AI settings
- Performing maintenance
