Manage your chatbot's basic configuration options.

Basic Settings

Name and Description

  • Name - The display name for your chatbot
  • Description - Internal notes about the chatbot's purpose

To update:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "General"
  2. Edit the name or description
  3. Click "Save"

Custom Domain

You can set a custom subdomain for your deployed chatbot:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Domain"
  2. Enter your preferred subdomain
  3. Click "Save"

The URL format is: https://your-subdomain.wizchat.app

note

Custom domains (your own domain) require a Business or Enterprise plan.

Status Management

Changing Status

PauseTemporarily disables the chatbot
ResumeReactivates a paused chatbot
ArchiveRemoves from active list, preserves data

When to Pause

Pause your chatbot when:

  • Making significant updates to the knowledge base
  • Updating AI settings
  • Performing maintenance
